Dr. Computer Shop has an excellent staff of trained certified professionals that can help with your every computer need.

WARRANTY WORK IS FREE:

Standard Repair/Upgrade Labor (1 hour minimum)........................................$60/hour

Repair fees do not include parts.


(*) Inspection fee is included in repair cost; charged separately only when no repair is authorized.

(***) Time starts and ends at our door. Missed appointments when a technician is dispatched will be billed the one hour minimum.

All repairs are covered under a minimum 30-day labor and 90-day parts warranty, or as specified by the manufacturer. Dr. Computer Shop recommends regular data backup and assume no responsibility for lost data.

Policies


• Dr. ComputerShop / Desktop Support schedules appointments in the order the requests come in. Repeat visits do not take precedence over other appointments and thus are given the same priority as new jobs. No long term contracts will be arranged through our service.
• Dr. ComputerShop / Desktop Support operates during normal University business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Appointment times are subject to the availability of our technicians.
• Dr. ComputerShop / Desktop Support reserves the right to decline any job if the group feels it is beyond the scope of what they do. Jobs declined after an initial evaluation will only incur travel charges.
• Charges billed to the customer includes charges for travel time to off campus locations and any time spent doing follow up telephone consulting in addition to all time spent working on a job.
• Follow up (return) visits or call backs are not free. They will be billed according to our normal labor rates.
• Dr. ComputerShop / Desktop Support assumes no responsibility for equipment breakage as a result of an action taken by any of our technicians. We will gladly remove any software installed by our personnel free of charge if it fails to perform as expected.
• Proof of license must be shown to our technician for commercial software installation and troubleshooting. Our technician may suggest that a shareware fee be paid but this will not be required for an installation.
• Only vendor supported hardware/hardware, hardware/software, and software/software combinations will be supported by Dr. ComputerShop / Desktop Support.

Software Issues


Computer Repair & Installation can diagnose and fix some software issues for our standard charge ($50/hr). Please be advised that software issues are not covered under manufacturer's warranty, nor under any maintenance contracts.

For any software issues that require reinstallation, including operating system software, the customer will need to provide or purchase appropriate licensed software.

System left at the shop for more than a week.

Dr Computer are not responsible for computer left at the store for more than one week.

Ebay and Internet returns.

Dr. ComputerShop will only accept returns for items that are receive DOA. No refunds for Physical Damage Products. All Items are Photographed and serialize before is shipped. Damage must be reported within one day of receipt of goods. After return inspection, Dr. ComputerShop will exchange for another unit if available. If Dr. ComputerShop doesn't have an item to exchange, Dr. ComputerShop will process a refund. If the returned item is tested successfully, no refund will be given. Please research auction items to ensure compatibility. Dr. ComputerShop will not exchange or refund because an item is not compatible with your system.
